About me

I am a socio-legal scholar of technology with interest in the Internet, 3D Printing, renewable energy and blockchain. I am Assistant Professor in Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow in Queensland University of Technology’s Faculty of Law, and a research associate at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT) in the Netherlands. My books, Socio-Legal Aspects of the 3D Printing Revolution, published by Palgrave Macmillan, and Private Power, Online Information Flows and EU Law: Mind the Gap, published by Hart, are out now!

I am also a digital rights advocate: I’m a member of Digital Rights Watch Australia‘s board of directors and member of the Australian Privacy Foundation‘s International Committee.

I’ve lived all over the world and am a British-Polish-Australian citizen with an Irish surname who speaks fluent Italian with a Scottish accent!
